@TheNewday2 Give me one unambigious statement from Jesus himself saying that he will die on the cross for his sins. Otherwise if you cant give me a line from the Bible, then your following some one else's teachings and not Jesus's

@TheKap1an JESUS CHRIST WAS BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY, WAS CRUCIFIED, DIED, AND BURIED. ON THE THIRD DAY HE AROSE IN FULFILLMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES. HE ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN AND IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER (GOD). HE WILL COME AGAIN TO JUDGE THE LIVING AND THE DEAD AND HIS KINGDOM WILL HAVE NO END. Only reason Muslims deny Jesus crucified in Koran is Mohamed would not be needed. We as Christians don't believe in Mohamed. He is not necessary. Jesus Christ did it ALL.

@colorfulswimsuit But it doesnt say the Holy spirit was around for some before Jesus, the verse is clear; the comforter will ONLY come once Jesus is gone, that is the condition for the comforter to come AT ALL.

@TheKap1an Yes, true, the Holy Spirit was around, but He wasn't available for everybody. Once Jesus died for the world's sins and once He was ascended into Heaven, the Holy Spirit was made for all. When we pray we say: in Jesus' name, Amen. We say this because Jesus allowed for the Holy Spirit to be available for us. Then, the Holy Spirit takes our prayers to God.

@colorfulswimsuit No, in John 16:7 Jesus(peace be upon him) clearly says that the comforter (which you say is the Holy spirit) will ONLY come once Jesus is gone, but the Holy spirit was present before and during Jesus's time, so it cannot be the Holy spirit because it was present before Jesus as stated in the Bible.

@TheKap1an The Comforter is the Holy Spirit. Before Jesus came to Earth and died for our sins, people could only communicate to God through people God appointed. After Jesus died, and He would no longer be on Earth, He did not want us to be alone. By sending the Holy Spirit He allowed us to speak directly to God personally. It was His gift to us.

@colorfulswimsuit Ok but you didnt answer my earlier post which was:If he is God then why does he say:John 14:28"My Father is greater than I."?Also isnt the Prophet Muhammad(saw) prophecised in the Bible:John chapter 16 verse 7:"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you".Theres more verses as well, but maybe this is enough for now.
